Warped Tour Vegas was a few weeks ago and we had a BLAST!
We started off the day at Johnny Rocket's to fuel ourselves, for a full packed day. While sitting and eating I noticed a really really good looking guy walk in. As he was walking away, I realized it was Kellin Quinn, lead singer of Sleeping With Sirens, and a friend.
My reaction was this: "DON'T LOOK, IT'S KELLIN QUINN."
Translation: "LOOK NOW, IT'S THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE."
Jo spazzed out, it hit her, Warped Tour was happening. We contemplated going to ask for a picture, but we didn't want to interrupt his personal time, so we carried on with our lunch. Right before we were about to leave, Jo decided to buy their lunch. Unfortunately, Jo was too shy to get a picture with Kellin Quinn. I guess buying them lunch was enough for Jo, and it was a way of saying thanks for their music.
After lunch, we decided to go grab our tickets and officially start Warped Tour. The first band we watched was Forever The Sickest Kids. Jo and I have an undying love for the drummer of FTSK, Kyle Burns, so one of our goals for the day was to go take a picture with Kyle. I really wanted to meet Kyle, because I have met all the members of FTSK except for him. Kyle is definitely in my top 3 for favorite drummers. FTSK is one of my favorite bands to see live, because they put on a fun performance and are so engaging. After FTSK's show we roamed around Warped Tour to look for an ATM machine (P.S. make sure to always bring cash before entering). It took us about 20 minutes to finally find an ATM machine, but what was so epic about the search for an ATM machine was the fact that we were walking right next to a really cute, tall, and blonde dude. I was the one next to the guy, but I didn't really notice him. Jo was the one that noticed the guy, but a little too late because she turned to me and goes, "Kyle Burns just walked by you". She wasn't aware that I've never met Kyle, so she thought that it wouldn't be that big of a deal. IT WAS A BIIIIIIIIG DEAL!!! So I freaked out knowing that Kyle was actually walking right next to us, and I HAD NO FREAKING CLUE!!! Fortunately, FTSK announced that they would be having a meet & greet later that day. Thanks to their meet and greet I was finally able to meet Kyle Burns and take a group picture with them.
We also watched other bands perform and Jo's favorite band live at Warped Tour is Bring Me The Horizon, and mine (besides FTSK) is The Summer Set. Jo loves Oliver Sykes, and I love Brian Dales. *swoon*
Jo also discovered a new love for Go Radio's music and Go Radio's guitarist, Alex Reed. While we were leaving for Warped Tour, we saw a cute guy crossing the streets. I realized that it was Alex Reed, and Jo got excited and ended up taking her phone out and to take a picture of Alex. Alex was sweet enough to go towards my car and pose for a picture. What a perfect way to end Warped Tour.
